Cran-Cinnamon Sweet Cider


    • 10 cans frozen apple juice concentrate
    • 3 cans frozen cranberry juice concentrate
    • 1.5 cups brown sugar
    • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
    • 1 cup white sugar
    • Dry red wine yeast

    …and I kind of broke my hydrometer so I never actually took the original gravity. But I’m sure it’s damn strong.

Add the frozen fruit concentrate into the 5 gallon fermenter, and full with water. Add the sugar, cinnamon, and yeast. Gently stir. Wait approximately 1 week until the wort completes fermentation, and transfer to the secondary (adding any clarifying agents/gelatin that you prefer). Let the cider sit for approximately 2-3 weeks in the secondary, and bottle. Use about 1/2 cup of bottling sugar, rather than the usual amount — this stuff is highly carbonated as is. Chill well before serving.
